Ziplining in Trinidad

Ziplining - Zip lining - I have seen it both ways.  Anyway, there is one in Trinidad close to Bamboo Cathedral and the boat yards.  Annika and Stefan had been previously.  They had fun and said they would go again.  Laura and Jason (sv Blue Blaze) wanted to go.  We did too.

It is located close to the Bamboo Cathedral so we biked there after our visit there.  The other four met us via hire car.

The staff were young adults but they knew their stuff and they were energetic and fun.  After gearing up we got our instructions and safety briefing.  Another local couple joined us.  I noticed she was jumpy.  Turns out, she is afraid of heights.  Oh boy.  But so is Stefan.  I told her that and Annika confirmed he was and that he had done this last year.  That seemed to really help her.  She focused as the first half of our group went first, watching very intently.  I encouraged her to go and then shouted praise as she zipped off to squeals.

There were 7 or 8 towers.  We were clipped in at all times as we moved along.  There were a few canopy type walkways as well.  We tried to look around at the beauty but we were a bit too excited to really take it all in.
Limin'

Good fun.  Afterward, we went down to the beach for a lime.
